Security

Your customers, your data, your rules.

Ansard keeps your bookings and the people who make them, which means it holds their personal data. Here is exactly what happens to it, who can see it, and where the line is drawn.

Data

  • Held in the UKBookings and customer details stay in the United Kingdom.
  • Never sold onNot to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anybody.
  • Never used to market to themYour customers are yours. We do not contact them about anything but their booking.
  • Yours to takeExport your bookings and customers whenever you want, and we delete on request.

Changes and cancellations

Customers are told

Every confirmation says what was booked, for when, and how to change it. The wording is yours to set, so it sounds like you rather than like a disclaimer.

Identity is checked before anything changes

Recognising a number is not the same as knowing who is holding the phone. Before a booking is read back or moved, they confirm something only the right person knows.

Phones get shared and handed round. This is not a nicety.

Who can see what

You draw the line

You decide who on your team can take a booking, who can move one, and who sees the customer list. Notes on access, allergies and anything about money stay with the people who need them.

A new account cannot message a single guest until the owner has confirmed their email.

It does not guess

It only offers what is genuinely free. It will not squeeze in a booking you have not got room for to get a customer off the page.

A double booking is worse than a full diary.
