Every answer here is one Sard gives in the diary.
What he does
Sets the diary up with you
Sard stands beside all six steps of setup. Stall on a box and he lights it up and says
what goes in it. Ask him anything about the step you are on, in your own words.
Trains whoever starts next
Turn on Staff training in Settings and he sits on every page of the diary. A new starter
taps him to see what a page is for, or asks him how to do something.
Dashboard, Reservations, Calendar, Timeline, Tables, Waitlist, Orders, Guests, Messaging
and Activity. He knows each one.
The six steps he walks you through
1. Your venueName, address, the phone guests call and the email they reply to. It goes on every confirmation, and you can change it later in Settings.
2. Booking hoursWhen guests can book online, day by day, and how often times are offered. Same every day copies Monday across the week.
3. TablesType them as a list, or draw the room and drag them in. Every booking is seated on a table that fits.
4. Guest listOptional. Bring your regulars in from a spreadsheet, with allergies and notes, so they show on their bookings.
5. PaymentsOptional. Take deposits on larger parties through your own Stripe account, paid by card when they book.
6. Go liveVerify your email, paste the booking button onto your website once, make a test booking, then add your team.
